A Lifelong Passion
for the Visual World
Photography found me the way it finds most people - through a single moment that demanded to be remembered. For me, it was standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon at sunrise, watching the light pour into that impossible landscape, and realizing that no description could ever do it justice. A camera could at least try.
Based in New Mexico, I shoot everything from sweeping desert landscapes to intimate portrait sessions, automotive photography to real estate. The subject changes - the approach doesn't. Every image starts with light, composition, and patience.
I believe the best photographs aren't taken - they're waited for. The moment the light shifts, the expression relaxes, the scene comes together. That's the moment I'm always after.

The Philosophy
Behind the Lens
Light First
Every great photograph starts with great light. I plan shoots around golden hour, blue hour, and the dramatic shadows that make ordinary scenes extraordinary.
Intention Over Volume
I'd rather make ten intentional images than a thousand random ones. Slowing down and being deliberate about every frame is how the best work happens.
Collaboration
For portrait and commercial work, the best images come from collaboration. I work with clients - not just for them - to create something genuine.
Authenticity
Heavily processed, over-edited images aren't my style. I work to preserve what was actually there - the real color of the light, the genuine expression, the honest landscape.
Current Gear
Great photography isn't about gear - but having the right tools for the job helps. Here's what I'm currently shooting with.
